Eye witness account of a road-killed cougar in Michigan and a DNR cover-up.
"Mr. Hiscock claims that on March 11, 2003, he and his friend saw a road-killed cougar (with claws) on M-40 between Lawton and Marcellus. The cat was confiscated by a conservation officer who asked them not to mention the incident because he would be investigating it.
I'm filing a Freedom of Information Request with the DNR today to see if there are any official documents relating to roadkill on March 11, 2003, in Van Buren, Cass, or St. Joseph Counties.
Thank you.
D.M."
